This is the second job Ken has done for me. Out of all the things I did to remodel my Condo, hiring Ken was best thing I did during the remodel. After removing all the pop corn from the ceiling and smoothing out the walls my 40 year old Condo looks brand new. He did an awesome job and was always on time. We are delighted with the work Ken did for us. A leak from the condo above us required a patch of the area and a ceiling redo for the bathroom. We have been doing a full house remodel since late 2011. In the process, we have dealt with a lot of bad contractors and their sub-contractors... I mean way, Way, WAY TOO MANY. In the process, it seems that we have had to lower our expectations every day just to get people out of the house and keep our projects on some semblance of a time schedule and budget. It is unfortunate that we found Ken so late in the game. He proved to be pretty much everything a contractor should be: (1) Knowledgeable (2) Professional (3) and Responsible. Trust me, this is very hard to find. We have learned the hard way that it is crucial to deal with a owner / operator wherever possible. We used Ken to fix a wall that had just been placed a couple weeks before, literally. The wall was not structurally sound to support a wall-hung water-closet (toilet & bidet). We no longer wanted to see or even think about using the original contractor / sub-contractors so we did a little research and found Custom Ceiling & Paint. We are very pleased with the final results and feel confident that Ken is someone we could recommend to anyone looking for drywall work. Thanks Ken!

I contacted Ken last fall when we started thinking about removing the popcorn in our celling. I found him online and was impressed with how many positive reviews he had. The reviews were accurate. He is the master of his domain. He told me how long it would take him, and he was exact in his estimation. His price was very competitive with other companies I called, but as opposed to other companies that wanted to push the knock down texture on me, because it's quicker to do, Ken specializes in smooth surface and never suggested any other finish in my home. My house looks now 20 years younger with the new ceiling. We'll be recommending Ken for years to come.

Ken & his crew removed our popcorn ceilings, loose damaged mirrors, skimmed all surfaces and painted required areas for this stage of our project. We've used Ken's services twice in the last 10 years. The first time was when we first bought our house. We were on a limited budget and anxious to move in. Ken stopped by, discussed the options, the costs involved with each one, and told us what he recommended and why. He gave us an estimate of how long it would take and how much it would cost, and lived up to both. Custom Ceiling removed our nasty, out dated popcorn ceilings, and did a great job. We had actually attempted to remove the popcorn in one of the bedrooms, and it was a messy, exhausting job getting it removed and we just couldn't get the ceiling smooth enough to paint. The owner Ken came by, measured, gave us a quote, how soon they could start and how long it would take. They carefully covered everything, and did a great job. Custom Ceilings did a great job removing our dated popcorn ceilings and mirrored walls, did the demo work on our bathrooms, painted our whole apartment, along with various other jobs in the renovation of our apartment. After having dealt with numerous contractors who promise everything but then increase their fees, don't complete the job on time and don't stay in touch, we found Ken!
